Radio modems

The ULTRACOM radio modems are suitable for variety of data transfer applications enabling an economical way to set up a wireless local area data communication network.

The Ultracom UHF radio modems operate in 400-470 MHz band and are compatible with RS232 and RS485 interface types. The RF power of the UHF modems operating in licensed bands is from 400 mW to 5 W. The operating transmission range is maximum 25 kilometres line of sight. The UHF radio modems with 10 mW RF power are operating in 434.050-434.790 MHz licence exempt band. The maximum operating distance is a few kilometres. Ultracom UHF modems comply with ETSI EN 300 113 and EN 300 220 requirements.

Ultracom UC800 -series radio modems operate in the European licence exempt band of 868 to 870 MHz and as modified version in the North American 915 MHz band.
